Create a "Doomsday" starship with this detail set for the 18" AMT kit. Set includes 3 damage inserts for the primary hull, 1 replacement nacelle pylon, and 3 damage inserts for the nacelles. Set includes templates for cutting out the hull sections.

This is a "as it sits in the package" review.
Not bad detail on the nacells and end cap. Adding some fine wire to it would be something to consider to simulate twisted framing members.
Not much detail on the pieces for the saucer section. Will think about what I could do to tweak them a bit.
Which is typical for GK, there is some work involved in removing the flashing that is found on some of these pieces.
Other than that... worth the price. |
