Thank you for shopping at the CultTVMan Hobbyshop. Please take a moment to read all of this information. It should answer any questions that you have.  I've tried to make it as straight foward and simple as possible.   We hope you have a pleasant shopping experience.

PRIVACY POLICY

CultTVman is concerned about your privacy and security.   The information you  provide, including name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password, are not shared with any outside parties.     Your credit card information is not stored by us in any way and is transmitted directly to our card processor, using secure encryption.   

CultTVman will only contact you with regards to your order status.  If you sign up for our newsletter, we will keep  you informed about our latest offers, promotions, specials and new additions to the CultTVman Hobbyshop.. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us.

The shop uses "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time.

Other sites accessible through our site have their own privacy policies and data collection practices. Please consult each site's privacy policy. Our Store is not responsible for the actions of third parties.


SHIPPING COSTS


The number one question I get is "How much is shipping?"   Shipping is based on the weight and destination of the order.   To calculate shipping, please start the check out process.  There is a shipping calculator on the View Cart page.   For Preorder Reservations, I list shipping ESTIMATES on the bottom of the page.   After you have entered your location, the cart will calculate all your shipping options.   Please see the sections below on US SHIPPING and INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING for more specifics.  Preorder products will have shipping estimates listed below the product description. 


ORDERING

To place an order:  Add the item to the shopping cart.   Each item has a button to add the product to your shopping cart.  If the item is out of stock, you will not be able to add it to your cart.  

To check out and pay:  Go to the View Cart page.  There is a link in the upper right corner of the page.  Verify that your order is correct and click on the "Proceed to Check Out" Button.    If you already have an account in the CultTVman Hobbyshop, you can log in at this time.   You do not need an account to go through the check out.   On the Checkout Page, you will enter your shipping and payment information and choose from shipping options.   After submitting payment, you will see an order confirmation and receive a confirmation email.


PAYMENT

CultTVman accepts payment using credit card, Pay Pal or money order.  Please use the Shopping Cart to place your order and select payment method. We no longer accept personal checks!
  • Credit Cards: The Shopping Cart is the preferred method of purchasing, using a credit card. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted.   We do not store your credit card information in any way.   Card information is transmitted securely to the processing bank.  Debit Cards are handled like Credit Carts and you may see a hold on your funds in your account until we have processed your transaction.
  • Pay Pal: The shopping cart is fully integrated with Pay Pal. Order using the shopping cart and choose the Pay Pal option for payment.
  • Money Order: To submit payment using money order, use the shopping cart and select ""Money Order" and submit your order. You can then print the order and mail payment. We no longer accept personal checks.  We are not responsible for any payment lost in the mail.
  • Phone Orders: We are not set up for telephone orders. Sorry!
Payment must be received before any orders are shipped.    We reserve the right to decline any order and cancel or refund payment.



TAXES

CultTVman collects sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the the state of Georgia. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.  

International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees.



PREORDER RESERVATIONS:

CultTVman allows customers to reserve specific kits prior to the product being available.    When you place a preorder, you commit to buying the product at a later date when the item is in stock.   You do not submit payment until we contact you when the product is expected to be in stock.  Please follow these simple steps:
  1. Login in on the My Account page
  2. Add the item to the cart.
  3. The price for the preorder item will be $0.00 and there will be no shipping charges.
  4. Submit your order.
  5. We will contact you when the item is expected to arrive to submit payment. We will provide a specific link so you can pay on line with credit card, Pay Pal or you may mail in your payment.

A couple notes about Preorders:

  • You must be registered and logged into your account to place a Preorder Reservation.  Go to the My Account page.  If you have problems logging in, please reset your password.
  • We will contact you for payment at the time the product is expected to ship.   You will need to pay for your at that time.
  • Your account must be in good standing to place a Preorder.  If you don't pay for your Preorder Reservations, we will not accept further Preorders from you.
  • Shipping dates listed in the product description are only estimates and may change due to various reasons.
  • Duplicate Preorders will be deleted.
  • Shipping costs are subject to change.
  • You do not pay for the products until they are ready to ship.
 Cancellation of preorders - we understand that you may need to cancel a preorder.   We accept cancellations up until the time we request payment.   Once we have sent out payment notices, we have purchased and paid for a kit for you and it is too late to cancel.   Prior to that, if you wish to cancel, send an email or enter a ticket on the Contact Us page.


U.S. SHIPPING

  • We ship all orders through the United States Postal Service (USPS).   We have had very good results shipping with the USPS with minimal damage or lost product.  
  • Shipping Time -- Most orders are shipped in 1 to 2 business days.   Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, or major US holidays.  You can choose from a number of shipping rates.
  • We do not guarantee delivery dates. Once a product is shipped, it is out of my control. Orders may be delayed in shipping for many reasons.
  • Shipping Confirmation and Tracking - You will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking information after we have mailed your order.   Tracking is not always accurate.   Please do not worry if your package is not where you expect it to be.   Packages go to different distribution and sorting facilities.
  • Signature Delivery - we may add signature delivery to your order at our discretion.  This helps us ensure you actually receive the products you ordered.
  • Priority Mail is best for US orders and should arrive in 3-5 days.  Large packages to the west coast or the northern states maybe be too expensive to ship Priority due to size and weight.   In rare cases, we reserve the right to ship Parcel Post when Priority Mail is deemed excessive and will pass along the savings to the customer.
  • Parcel Select shipping saves money, but may take up to 2 or 3 weeks to arrive. In rare cases, such as with large oversize packages, we may opt to ship Parcel Select to save on your shipping charges and will pass along those savings to you. We ship using delivery confirmation so we can track your order if there are problems.
  • First Class - We offer first class rates for flat items such as decals, photoetch, small parts, and some magazines. 




INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • IMPORTANT! - International shipping may take up to 8 weeks to arrive.   Most orders arrive in 2 to 3 weeks.  However there are times when delivery can take longer, up to 8 weeks.   International shipping is unpredictable and tracking is not always accurate.  Packages may be held in customs and tracking may not reflect that. Our experience is that your package will arrive.       If your order has not arrived after 3 weeks, please contact your local post office.  The package may be held up up for duties or taxes.   For these reasons, we cannot take further action until 8 weeks after your order has shipped. 
  • IMPORTANT! - International orders may be subject to additional duties, fees, and taxes.   The customer is responsible for these.   We do not collect duties and taxes for other countries.   These are outside of our control.  
  • We ship all orders through the United States Postal Service (USPS).   International orders are sent Air Mail.  We do not offer surface shipping.  We have had very good results shipping with the USPS with minimal damage or lost product.   
  • Customs Forms and Duties - Do not ask us to mark orders as "gifts" or misrepresent the value of the product.  Fraudulent information may cause your order to be confiscated by customs agents.  You are responsible for all customs duties.
  • Shipping Time -- Most orders are shipped in 1 to 2 business days.   Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, or major US holidays.  You can choose from a number of shipping rates.
  • Delivery Time -- Most orders arrive in 2-3 weeks.   Please note that international shipping is out of my control and may take up to 8 weeks, depending on where the order is being shipped. Sometimes orders are stuck in customs. Sometimes the Post Office screws up!
  • We do not guarantee delivery dates. Once a product is shipped, it is out of my control. Orders may be delayed in shipping for many reasons.
  • Order Tracking - Some, but not all, international orders have some tracking, depending on the destination.   Tracking information is not always accurate.   Allow 8 weeks for delivery.
  • Payment:  We recommend Pay Pal or credit card payments.  We also accept Canadian Postal Money Orders made out in US Dollars.
  • Priority International - Orders over 3.5 pounds are shipped Priority.  Priority International offers some tracking of your order, depending on the shipping destination.
  • First Class International - May be used on orders up to 3.5 pounds.  It is generally less expensive.  Tracking may only be available in some countries including the Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, any others.
  • RESTRICTIONS: We do not ship to Brazil, Nigeria, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, or other countries with known shipping problems or high instances of fraud.  We reserve the right to decline orders which we consider to be high risk.




ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
  • Models are kits: All model kits come unassembled. You must build and paint them yourself. Model kits may contain small parts and are intended for ages 15 and up.
  • About Resin kits: Resin models require advanced modeling skills and some safety precautions. Wear a mask when cutting or sanding resin kits! It is not uncommon to have flaws in the castings such as air bubbles or chips. You may have to do a bit of extra work to prepare the parts.
  • Imperfections on packaging do not constitute damaged product!  Some boxes may have minor creases or other imperfections.  We will not replace kits with minor flaws in the boxes.
  • I'm not in the business of selling products as "collector's items."  All products are sold with the understanding that they will be opened and used by the buyer.
  • Minor air bubbles or other flaws in resin kits are normal and may require a little extra effort on your part. These are not damaged kits!
  • All items are in stock, unless they specifically say OUT OF STOCK. There may be rare occasions when an item sells out before I can remove from the site. If that is the case, I will notify you and we'll discuss how to proceed with the order. 



REPLACEMENT/MISSING PARTS

We realize that some products may have damaged or missing parts and will do our best to resolve the problem. This means, you may have to return the product to us for replacement. In many cases, we do not have multiples in stock and may not be able to provide a replacement and may have to offer a refund.  We have a 30 day return policy.

Many items are produced in limited numbers or are discontinued. Replacement parts are simply not available.

ORDER PROBLEMS AND 30 DAY RETURN POLICY

I understand that there may be problems related to your order.   I need to be notified within 30 days of any problems with your order.     Please email CultTVman@aol.com (or use the Contact Form)  if you need to return or have other problems with an item. You may return items within 30 days for a full refund or replacement if you are not satisfied for any reason. You will need to return the complete product with the packaging.

Replacement is subject to product availability and we may have to issue a refund instead of providing a replacement.

We will only cover the cost of return postage if the product is defective.   Realize that we may make mistakes in shipping and will take the appropriate actions to resolve any errors.

Please check your purchases to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. 30 days is plenty of time to review your purchase.

IMPORTANT!  - Minor dings or creases on the box is not considered damaged.  We will not provide replacements for minor box damage.  All product is sold with the intent that it will be opened and built or displayed.   We do not sell model kits as "collector's items."



ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. CultTVman reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, CultTVman has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.  In the event a product description has incorrect information, CultTVman has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product described.

We've unfortunately had a few problem customers that have committed fraudulent transactions, harassed us, or have simply been impossible to satisfy.  We reserve the rights to decline business from these individuals.



OTHER CONDITIONS


These conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether CultTVman signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.
