To the Moon! 1n 1968, America launched the Apollo Saturn V rocket to the moon. Revell has produced this 1:96 scale masterpiece of that historic rocket. It stands 46 inches tall when assembled. Details include launch platform with supports, first stage with 5 detailed thrusters, printed tubular detail parts made of thin polystyrene strips, engine cowling, 2nd rocket stage with 5 thrusters, intermediate ring with fire protection wall, 3rd rocket stage with thrust nozzle and helium tanks, detailed Lunar Module, 1 astronaut, separate upper stage of the LM, LM transparent cover, CM with interior, escape rocket and more

Revell 1/96th scale Saturn V

This was and still is a marvellous kit! Engine-wise, it is more accurate than the Dragon 1/72nd scale model. It has too many posigrade rockets at the first stage Interstage ( there should be four), and the Apollo capsule is Block 1 rather than Block 2 and does not include a Boost Protective Cover, but any modeler worthy of this kit can fix those easily. There are New Ware kits to replace the CSM, and others make parts to fit the Apollo Command and Service Modules. Get this kit while you can!!!!
